Hello, we are first year students of Epsom Girls Grammar School. Our names are Eliza, Albertine, and Madison. Welcome to our Globe Theatre webpage! For English this year, our topic was Elizabethan England, but more specifically, Shakespeare and his life. We decided that would study the Globe Theatre in England. The Globe Theatre

The Globe Theatre was built in 1599 by the Shakespear's playing company. Peter Smith designed the original Globe Theatre. It was destroyed by fire in 1613 on the 29th of June.
